Sherry Lin is an associate specializing in employment litigation, employment counseling, and labor law. Ms. Lin has experience defending employers in federal and state employment law cases involving Title VII, ADA, ADEA, and state discrimination laws. Ms. Lin has also counseled employers on paid sick leave, reduction in force, and other employment law policies.
Ms. Lin joined the firm in 2015 after practicing at a large Michigan law firm.
Prior to joining Renne Sloan Holtzman Sakai, Ms. Lin worked as a summer associate and as an associate at a Michigan law firm, where she was a part of an employment litigation team that represented an American multinational company in its employment cases across the country.
During law school, Ms. Lin worked for the general counsel of a technology company, as a judicial law clerk at the San Francisco Superior Court, and as a tax law research assistant. Prior to law school, Ms. Lin worked as a corporate governance research analyst.
Ms. Lin speaks Mandarin fluently and has worked at a Chinese law firm in Beijing, China.
